Age old question:
Ok you have to choose one:
1) You have to personally kill 10 people of your own choosing
2) If you don't, or kill yourself, 10,000 will die

No problem. There are at least 10 people in the world I'd kill if forced to.
In fact, can I kill more than 10?
There's no panic like the panic you momentarily feel when you've got
your hand or head stuck in something

Yeah, I'm sure I could find 10 people in this world that I could get rid of permanently.

The problem with these questions are that you can answer however you wan't, but you never know how you would actually react in that particular situation. I would like to believe i'd chose self sacrifice, but in reality, if i was faced with the choice i might chose to kill 10 people. You never know. We all have that list of people we feel deserve to be punished.
Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate.

The noble thing to do would be to sacrifice my life for that of the 10,000 and live on in people's memories as a hero-martyr.
Buildings would be erected in my honour, songs would be written...
...what the heck was in that coffee?!
If there was no way to pull one of those classic James Bond escapes, I would still choose to protect the 10,000, even if the 10 deserved to die slow, agonizing deaths at my hand.
