Who's the Worst QB in the NFL
I'm afraid this thread is for the US only...because we're the only ones who have an NFL...
Anyway, I nominate our own Dave Hesselbeck of the Seattle Seahawks who has successfully sent our early 3-0 winning streak into a 3-3 tie.
About the last game against the Arizona Cardinals one reporter for the Tacoma News Tribune wrote:
Seahawk Matt Hasselbeck committed quarterbacking atrocities in Arizona on Sunday that were vile enough to gag the staunchest fan.
He had 14 completions, 23 incompletions and four completions to the other team. His quarterback rating barely was in positive integers.
He looked like a nearsighted shooter on a skeet range. He threw high and low, in front of receivers and behind them. Many didn’t even go past the line of scrimmage, getting spiked right back at him by stunned defensive linemen who almost seemed to be batting down the wayward passes out of self-defense.
He was skittish in the pocket and impatient with his reads..
So who's you nominee for worst quarterback in the NFL?

I'm not sure, but I do think Peyton Manning is the most overrated QB ever to play the game. Man he sucks. Loser with a captial L.

He the QB for the Colts, correct? The two times I've seen him play this year, he wasn't too shabby..

Baltimore's got two real losers with Kyle Boller & Kordell Stewart. Makes you cringe just thinking how bad their 3rd stringer must be to be behind those two on the depth chart.

I don't know. Is Dilfer still around? He might be the worst QB ever to win a ring.

Always hated Jeff George myself.
St. Atala raised the Holy Hand Grenade up on high saying "Oh, Lord! Bless this, thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayest blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy."

He is the back up in Seattle.
Now that the Vicodin has worn off and I can think more clearly I've gotta say that the Hokies own Jim Druckenmiller may have been the worse pro QB I ever saw. And man did it a hurt. Here was Druck, the best QB at VT since Strock, being drafted by the beloved 49er's, and oy did he blow chunks...

And as for most overrated, I say Michael Vick. He's a hell of an athlete, but he doesn't seem that great the QB position. He makes bad reads, poorly timed throws, and seems like he'd prefer to run. I don't think the west coast system is very well suited to his abilities, and that might be a big detriment to him. He'd be better off in a more college-like system, that used more option plays and such.

He should have stayed in Hokie-land another year. I agree he's still has some things to learn and the west coast offense is not to his skills. Exciting he is, but I think he needs a better system to use the skills that he has.
