Cannot print e-mails
When a user is trying to print an e-mail using outlook 2000, they get the following error and are unable to print:
Internet Explorer Script Error
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 228
Char: 1
Error: ‘diologArguments._IE_PrintType’ is null or not an object
Code: 0
url: res//C:\Windows\System32\Shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
Yes No
No matter what you answer it will not print. Any suggestions?

Far shot:
Copy to word first then print as a document

That is what I am having the users do, but they are pre-madonna’s here and they don’t want to have to do that. They should just be able to print from their e-mail like everyone else.

Err...
What is the defined printer in Outlook ?
(the err message seems to indicate no printer is defined)
also check for all the print format definition in Outlook.
It can be messy at times.

Quick google searches of part of your error turned up this: http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=809150 Talks about removing surfairy, a bit of spyware.
I'd suggest that you look at removing all spyware from the PC, and check for virus's. Even though the User is printing from Outlook, I presuem the content of the email is in HTML format, hence the script errors in IE. Can the User print from IE?

Does the directory exist? Did you browse to it or just try to run it from the Run menu? Cause if the program isn't there, it must be something else. Have you run a spyware utility such as Spybot? Remember to download all updates.

Ok I ran spybot and adaware. User had a few things but no surfairy. Now the user can print some e-mails but others he gets the same error message. It is totally random. I though maybe it had something to do with attachments but that wasn’t it either. Some e-mails with attachments print, whiles others do not. It doesn’t matter if they are from the inside of our company or out side and it isn’t any specific e-mail from a specific person that he can’t print. Its crazy and its driving me nuts.

Browser Helper Objects - active x type controls to you possibly ? Add-ins for some browser anyway
Try either this,
To do this start Internet Explorer and on the Tools menu, click Internet Options, or go to Control Panel then select Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab and click on the box marked Enable Third-Party Browser Extensions (Requires Restart). Click Apply and then click OK.
to disable third-party browser extensions in Internet Explorer (from Ya-Knows original link), or as I said earlier use some spyware killer or other to identify what BHO's you've got & get shut of this one - generally the only 'really required' one is one to do with windows update & everything after that is potential 'pooh-ware' just bunging up your machine ..

Well we've tried this already .. Cannot Print in Internet Explorer if Surfairy Is Installed via the suggestions to try uninstalling it & turning off 3rd party browser stuff, so I dunno ! ..
Is there any trace of surfairy anything anywhere ? So via search or also searching the registry & I suppose I'd better ask you for a hijackthis log please & see if that shows anything
