For anyone confus-ed over what on earth Toppro is on about - look here & you'll find the mysterious sclark, works for jupiter media & is shown as one of the admins on the board.
All I have to say is - why don't you Toppro- introduce yourself properly ? You seem mighty familiar & your trail of recent posts certainly is !

I believe that all the names on the admin list have been there since Scott's departure, so they aren't that new.
Seems to me that 'sclark' saw something they he (she ? there's no profile filled in) didn't approve of, for whatever reason, & moved it to modsville, adding a comment, which seems to me a valid part of any admins role.
Noo earlier on another thread asked folks to be patient & I'll do the same here ..
IMHO various folks are well aware things might have been done 'different/better' .. so lets give them some time to consider matters & practicalities please.
Noo is on the case along with various other folks - please leave it to her capable hands !! & as little random stirring, in the meantime, as possible would be appreciated
(folks have to sleep etc & everybody is in different time zones so that makes communication even more difficult than it already seems to be!)

And patience in this case would be wise. It would seem that lack of communication was indeed at the heart of another problem here. And that constant problem here needs fixing big time, and now.

Well it looks like the KGB is moving in like i talked about last night, but unfortunately, that thread has gotten deleted. Well you wanted the inter-site discussions to end, stirring up alot of **** here seems to have been the choice to do so. The users are thrying to find out what's going on and complain about the current state of affairs and you silence them?
That's a load of BS. I'll wait a little while longer to see if Rich or any of the other mods can come up with a valid excuse (not the crap we've been fed already), otherwise I'm not going to bother coming to a place where a valid opinion is silenced.

Hey folks, sorry I haven't introduced myself previously. I'm Scott Clark (yes, another Scott), and I am the Executive Editor for the Windows Technology Channel of sites. My apologies for jumping into the fray here, but I found several threads last night that were in this public forum that weren't appropriate, as this forum is not limited to adults, so I removed them. I wasn't trying to be a forum nazi, although I'm sure that's what it looked like at the time.
I am one of the admins here, but in general you won't see me around much (although I've leaned some great tips--kudos to the gang here).
btw, when we changed the chat server yesterday, we didn't mean to dis any of the chat mods--we just weren't aware of them--again, my apologies. We'll see if the former chat server host can set us up with our own room and get things there back to normal asap.
I'm available most of the time if you need to reach me, just PM me and I'll do my best to respond in a timely manner.
Thanks,
Scott

Ok, I was here until almost 1 CST, I never saw a thing I would consider explicit, and inappropriate to kids. Add to that, I wouldn’t expect a kid in the states to be up that late, but of course, if you are talking world wide, that I understand. However, why not just edit out the profanity, and let the discussions continue? Simply pointing that out in a post in one of those threads would have been far more capable of resolving the situation you perceived to be so “out of hand”. No, I think you were administering damage control for a major decision failure. We were right to balk at it, and it’s VERY unfortunate that all of that dialog is now tucked away. BTW, did you read any of it or just move everything without reviewing it?
And, back to the most important topic…when can we expect the apology from someone to NooNoo, and have her super mod powers reinstated?

Ya know, you don't sometimes... My super powers are back and things are being talked out. I know you are a big and butch and like to ensure a lady's honour, but right now, leave it be please?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

No problem Ya_know, I publicly apologize to NooNoo, and have been having a great conversation with her via email. As she said, her powers have all been restored, and we're very happy to have her around here--she's quite knowledgeable.
Thanks,
Scott

Well $h!+, a simple thank you would have sufficed...
Next time, throw me a bone, instead of leaving me out to dry not knowing what's going on…
There, it’s official; I’ll go back to helping out when I can…
Also, thank you sclark, I have a feeling I'm going to like you. Too bad you said you wont frequent here often...(hint )
