    My Computer Icon ... missing

    Last night the wife got on the laptop to do bills. This afternoon I boot up and discover that My Computer is missing. I don't have a clue as to how she did it. How can I get it back?

    Right click on your desktop and go to properties/desktop/customize desktop and see if it somehow got unchecked.
