Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM) -- sry if brought up already
Ok, again I'm sorry if this problem has been brought up already, but I decided to get this soundcard from my old WinME computer and put it in on my new WinXP computer. I am recieving NO sound. Device manager says that it's working fine, I've installed the drivers from creative... nothing

welcome to the forums lang1
1] Are the speaker working? (try them in another pc)
2] Check its all plugged in
3] See whether its muted under Control Panel-->Audio (not sure about WinME)

Well, the speakers came with the WinME computer, as it was a Gateway. Now, I'm guessing it's the speakers because I just plugged in some old speakers and they work... BTW the speakers that I'm trying to use is the Boston Digital BA735, and these speakers worked on my WinME with the same soundcard.

lang1, I think you will need to follow the instructions toward the bottom of this page:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=winxp
regarding the Gateway specific driver and BA735 issue.

Ok, I read that, and I was wondering if there were any specific drivers that I could install for my card, that has digital output?

Follow the section that starts:
"If you have a Gateway computer with the OEM version of Sound Blaster, you may need to install the updated driver that is available from the Gateway Web site"
The card that was fitted to Gateway systems supplied with the BA735s was a Gateway-specific OEM card. As you have a card with the ES137x chipset, you'll need to get the PCI128 driver, not the Live 5.1 driver.

Errr... still no sound from these digital speakers. Tried doing the digital output thing, but the advanced options thing is greyed out I've installed the drivers for WinME and WinXP, but none give me the ability to use digital output.

Yes, the ES137x drivers are picky about how they're installed, guess I should have mentioned that.
Anyway, glad to help and thanks for letting us know of your success!
