gameplay
is it possible for xp pro not to play a game?the game is from '98---Janes's WW 2 Fighters by EA.the only drawback to the system in question is the video card
4 MB. Nothing comes up on the screen.

Yes.
One thing you can try is to install it. Find the .exe. right click and select properties. Click the compatability mode tab and try to run it in windows 98 compatability mode.
I cannot quarantee it will work but I have several games that wont run in XP.

16-bit Sound Board, Mouse, and DirectX.
Jane's WWII Fighters by Jane's Combat Simulations (EA) for the PC Win 95/98.
Graphics
DirectX 6
