The Best Search Engine I have ever seen!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm very fed up with the decline in search engine quality over the past few years. I remember back when a google search really returned 1,000,000 results if you were willing to go through them all, spidercrawler return 100's of 1000's of results, etc. I
could find what I wanted and didn't have to sift through moutains of "paid listings" before I found REAL results. Even using Boolean searches doesn't help much with engines nowadays, and recently google has started filtering out very common pages because some of the words "might" refer to hacking... Anyway, I found KartOO today and, although it uses those engines, it is AWESOME and allows one to quicly filter through the trash that is inevitably returned.
Name: KartOO
URL: http://www.kartoo.com/flash.php3?langue=en
DESC: Uses Flash to create a "map" of results from up-to 10
engines. Awesomely, the map seems to be built by
analyzing the occurence of words in the pages content
and linking them together through clickabel keywords to
refine your search. Each site is represented like a "world"
with pages as moons around the world. Links are displayed
by hovering over the words, and can add the word to you
search wtih a single click. Very sweet!
Everyone needs to try this engine!

Well, it wasn't intended as spam.... Looking back at it, it
does look like a cheap advert. you get in the mail.
Hope you actually checked what else I've posted and looked
before you spammed me though...
Btw, for future reference can you point me to the
policies on what is considered spam here (just in case
posting links to sites people haven't been before is
considered spam you know).

Usually when a new user appears and starts posting trying to point people other websites for products, its SPAM. That may not be the case this time, although at first glance it appears so. The board FAQ's should cover things considered to be outside of the acceptable use policy, like SPAM, having multiple accounts, etc.
Sorry for any confusion, but we have been flooded with heavy SPAM here lately.

It's cool
I understand. I hate it too. A M.U.D. (telnet/text based mind you) that I've been playing lately has started getting spammed. Who spams a M.U.D.
over telnet!? Anyway, sorry to have ruffled your feathers.

type code 31 into google, what do you get as first hit? Where is it that on other search engines, if it's not in the top 5 or 10, the engine sucks...

The user interface is complicated and the font is small for us old fogies... but I think the younger ones will like it.
