Windows XP DVD Burner Drivers
I have an external DVD Burner, and it installed itself as a CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive. After looking around at my drivers for a while, I realized that Windows XP doesn't come with DVD-RW Drivers. Does anyone know where to get a generic DVD-RW Driver?

Usally you can enable this with the software used for burning as well.
What software did it come with for burning?
If none then I would reccomend Nero.
Nero 6 is what I use. There is a nero 7 but i do not have any experience with that
I have used alot of different dvd burners boith internal and external with nero without issue
The drivers you are looking for in windows are called the aspi layer.
You can check your aspi layer by using aspicheck (found easily with google)
You can also use a program called forceaspi (also found easily with google)
