    Exclamation usb mp3 player

    hi everyone

    Ive a tevion mp3 player, it comes with a driver for w98 but as i have a w2k laptop i'm not supposed to need a driver(as says the manual!!), it should kick in as a removable disk but this isnt the case, when i click on the usb icon on the task bar the player is coming up with an exclamation mark, if i go to the properties it says that the driver isnt installed, if i try to install a generic usb driver from the OS it wont , it says that a function driver wasnt specified.
