    I have one more question about this matter... because I m gonna throw away the floppy.
    Every time I' ll make Win XP installation to the sata HD, shall I need the floppy drive?

    It is my understanding that. if you want to install S-ATA drive/s either as Raid or AHCI, you MUST have the S-Ata drivers on a floppy.

    If you want to operate your S-Ata drive/s as P-Ata (IDE), then you don't.

    Or you can slipstream them into a windows xp sp2 cd.... but I have never personally tried that.

    Because I ll put it in another system which I sell...

    Anyway, a floppy drive costs only 5-6€
