Driver Terrier
Welcome to Windrivers kixdrt
try the updated driver here
Visioneer support site is down at the moment, but the driver downloads ok
Visioneer stress the importance of removing ALL of the previous software first. To do this go into safemode and use add/remove programs to uninstall the visioneer stuff. Then into device manager to uninstall the scanner.
Reboot to normal mode BUT DO NOT CONNECT THE SCANNER. Ensure every trace of the scanner has gone.
Turn off your antivirus and other internet or spyware security as this can interfere with the driver installation.
Run the drivers listed above and DO NOT connect the scanner until the drivers ask you to. If they don't ask, reboot after the driver installation and wait untill Windows is fully and completely loaded (no hour glass on the mouse) and all icons by the clock showing. Then connect the scanner.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
