wireless mouse and key board
Hi, Finally got my my comp working the way it should, all problems resolved apparently except one, I have a set of microsoft wireless multi media key board and matching mouse. They work great with my old comp. which also runs XP
but when I tried to install them on my new comp I have problems.
even though I tried to just run them without software, and with latest Intellipoint software down loaded from microsoft. I keep getting warnings when I try to install the software saying that software has not met some standard and could cause problems. any suggestions why this could be?? after all the key board and mouse are microsoft, XP is microsoft and the software is microsoft.
my corded mouse and keyboard work fine.

Bilwill, what operating system are you running on your "new comp"? What problems do you have when using the mouse and keyboard without the software installed?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Hi, new system uses XP with SP2, just tried again and it seems to be working without software. warning that came up is" USB human Interface device has not Passed Winows Logo testing to verify its compatibility". continued anyways, and like I said it seems to be OK.

Just a thought but have you tried the latest drivers for your usb controller on the motherboard?
One Script to rule them all.
One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
and clean up after itself.
