Desktop Icon
I tried to use System Suite 5 to clean up my registry, it loaded onto my pc twice and didn't work properly so I removed the program. After it was removed I had a icon appear on my desktop showing MXUIShell.mxe What is it and where does it really belong ?

It doesn't belong anywhere! You should be able to delete it... can you?

Thx NooNoo, yes I just had to right click it away to the trash bin. Was just a bit leery of doing so since I had just run a registery cleaner and didn't want to accidently erase a needed file for another program. Love the quote, it rings ironically true !!!

My pleasure gday... Yes, it's a home grown truism - if you see anyone else using it, you know who thought it up first!
Registry cleaners can be dangerous and you were right to check, but on this occasion it's fine. I just wonder why on earth the uninstall doesn't explain what it's going to do with that file.
