    DhcpServer Error

I keep getting a blue screen and the Event Viewer shows the following error.

    Event ID: 1007
    Source: DhcpServer
Description: The DHCP server failed to initialize Winsock data.

I am running Windows XP on an AsusM3N78 PRO motherboard.

When I get the BSOD, it flashes and the computer reboots. I never get to read the screen. I went to the Event Viewer to see what the error was and it said Event ID1007

OK so you need to turn off the automatic restart.

Right click my computer, select properties, then advanced tab, then startup and recovery button, then uncheck the automatically restart box.

The next time the BSOD will stay there.

    Did you reset winsock yet?
