Replacement motherboard
My motherboard died and I need to find a replacement motherboard that will fit my case. It was originally an Acer M5640 AM5640-B54045A. The motherboard is microATX (9.6 x 8). The case uses 3 internal USB 2.0 ports, 1 1394 internal port, 1 front panel connector block (13 pins), 1 audio connector block, 1 SPID audio connector block.
The CPU is an Intel E2200 Pentium Dual Core with DDR2 667 Mhz.
Uses 2 SATA II drives (HDD and CD-Drive).
I would really appreciate any help you can give me to find a motherboard that will fit and be able to use all the case accessories.
Thanks.

Hello:
You may find a number of motherboards that will 'fit' BUT the configuration of the I/O shield (or bezel) may differ and thus you will have a gaping hole in the back panel.
A good tech spec list with photos is here;

It is said that the mobo is an Nvidia MCP73 nForce 630i motherboard.
So, that is where to start looking.

Don't motherboards come with the I/O bezel?
Now that you mentioned it, I haven't checked if the bezel of the original motherboard can be removed without damaging any thing around it.
I remember my old Gateway PC, bought a motherboard and ended up buying a new case, because the back bezel was NOT removable at all. The holes were "carved" out of the chasis. On this Acer case I can see the frame of the bezel, so I assume it can be removed.

Yes, many/most come with a bezel BUT you are looking to replace an existing board and might have to buy a used board OR the board you look at NEW might not mention a bezel and may have some minor difference, so I mentioned that.
