Need some Help! Problems with Sound.
Regars!
Hi guys! First of all, nice to meet you all! I`m Lukas, and i have some problems with sound.
Yesterday I reinstalled Windows XP and I wanted to install drivers for sound card but it says: Install Realtek HD Audio Driver Failure.
I tried others, and it`s the same answer.
Do you have any solution for me?
[ sorry for my poor english ]
Thank you,
..... Lukas

Hiya!
Need to know what computer you have (make/model or, if home-built, what motherboard and version).
Need to know if it's onboard sound or did you add a card and if so what card.
Need to know if you installed the chipset drivers for that computer after the XP reinstall.

The Asus site has an updated driver Version 5.10.0.5397 for that mobo.
http://support.asus.com/download/dow...e=map&f_type=4
I suggest you uninstall what you have already tried to install, reboot and install the Microsoft UAA driver package ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111 ), reboot and then install that lastest driver from Asus.
