Trouble with logging in as Admin
Trying to log in as an server admin from a win 7 pro computer
Into a win 2003 server domain. As I try to type in the username
of " administrator" my domain name disappears as I type the last
"r" min the word. I then cannot login to the domain. Any suggestions.
Many thanks!

Does this happen from any win7 machine or just one? Are you sure it's still on the domain?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Try the YOURDOMAIN\Administrator or Administrator@YOURDOMAIN formats for username.

Are you trying to log into a local machine as a local admin? If so, type .\ directly before your name to get it to use the local accounts on the machine. If not, I cannot fathom why the name would disappear as you type it, other than possibly malware.
