Dell Error Code 1604
Hi All,
Have a PowerEdge T610 with dual Xeon E5620 CPU's, Client recently install a video card to enable some OpenGL programs. Shortly after that, the open management console started reporting an error on processor 2,
1604 Processor sensor detected a failure value Sensor location: CPU2 Chassis location: Main System Chassis Previous state was: Unknown Processor sensor status: Presence detected, IERR
So question, replace processor? or move PCIx cards around and see if it goes away?
Ideas.....
No matter where you go........there you are.

Thanks CCT, saw that, seems specific to Intel boards. Going to move the video card from a 16x8 slot to a 16x4 and also check the heat sinks. Will report from there.

Yes, it is. The info I found says that the Dell T610 is an Intel-based system (5520 chipset).

Just to update everyone. Took server off line this morning, pulled RAM and ADD-IN cards, reseated RAM, re arranged ADD-IN cards with proper priority order. Brought back on line and all is well.
My assumption here is that the PCIx priority and voltage were the cause of the error to start. Hope this helps someone down the line.
