    Post My Internet is possessed!!!!!

This is probably the most common thing I've seen and still get a chuckle.

This guy was very jittery when I got to his house to find out what he was talking about. His significant other was downstairs and made him very reluctant to turn on the system even.

After booting up the system and activating IE, the problem became VERY apparent. Up pops Kara's adult playground and about 12 pop-ups to boot. All of which caontained enough 'evidence' to have him in the doghouse until she relocated to mom's.

The response after getting the windows closed and the main screen changed to something more business like was along the lines of: " I don't know what happened. I just got to looking around the internet and the next time I opened it this happened. Is it a virus?"

Reset the homepage to his old msn.com and was on my way. Sometimes a beer and a laugh are reward enough <IMG SRC="smilies/cool.gif" border="0">
Stress.... The uncontrollable urge to choke the living $417 out of someone who desperately needs it.

Ignorance.... The inherent capacity to demand of someone else that which one is too lazy to learn/perform for one's self.

User....An individual who, through immense proportions of ignorance, create stress.

Ended up in a divorce case over a porn ridden PC once. Id had it in several times to "clean up a virus", next thing I know, I get a letter from the owners wifes' solicitor wanting info on the work id done!
I heard about six months after this from some guy whod bought the PC second hand, found my Computer companies name on the seal, and was ringing to ask if I could get rid of the porno homepage!

Reminds me of the time I was working on a PC for a Catholic Priest and discovered a folder full of porn.
Maybe he didnt use enough holy water to get rid of the possessed spirit that caused the porn to appear there.
