Planetquake is the premiere resource site for all your quaking needs.
Mods, levels, maps, utilities, helpfiles and a close relationship to Polycount (you want models? We got models!) makes it a one-stop shop
There's also <a href="http://www.quake3world.com" target="_blank">Quake3World</a> that has some very interesting maps...
Say, how about we ask Milenko to add a featured map in there once in a while?
I propose <a href="http://www.quake3world.com/maps/jan02.htm" target="_blank">Kineterra1</a> for starters (scroll down to see it). Anyone second that?

I mentioned something like that to Milenko. He said that he wasnt quite sure about that since downloading maps through the Quake 3 client sucks major aS$.
Even though I do have an idea that I can pass by the man.....
He can change the message of the day to list his website or some website where it can list three to five maps with the links or something like that.
I dont know about you but it is fun to mix things up every now and then with a totally new map.
If it aint broke, TWEAK it!
When in doubt, throw it out!!

I tried to get on last night, but I couldn't find the server...
Is it Q3 Arena or Q3 Team Arena (or does it not matter)?

Team Arena is like a mod basically, you got to have Q3 Arena to have Team Arena. If you start up Team Arena and get into a Q3 Arena server, it will switch back.

I think that is a good idea.
New maps would be both fun and intreguing.
