MFP4345 cant send to networked win7 folder
Hi all,
A client has ths laser printer/scanner HP 4345mfp.
I entered the web admin of the printer few months ago and configured 4 profiles for the "scan to network" to send scanned images directly to users folders.
It worked great just until they replaced their faulty router last week.
3 of the profiles which are on xp machines continue to work - While the 4th profile who send the file to win7 32 bit machine, fails to send the scanned file.
I can access the folder via \\computername form other network computer, but just can't from the printer/scanner.
I pinged the printer without problem, And the DHCP address pool is the same as the old router.
i would be happy for suggestions.
Thank you

After the router was replaced, did you turn off the printer, then turn it back on?? Do the same for the computers. It whould work fine.

Hi MPP :O)
I found it out to be that the subnet mask of the new router was 255.255.255.0 instead of 255.0.0.0 of the previous router.
It still a mystery why 3 out of 4 scan config worked, But I just wanted it solved :O)

ipconfig/flushdns
arp -d
When you’re left out of the club, you know it, when you’re in the club, you don’t see what the problem is.
