Monitor Blackout
I have a ViewSonic E90 Monitor. Right now my vertical lines are wavy and every so often the monitor just blacks out. Can anyone help?

I'm sorry to say it sounds like your monitor is ready to give up the ghost. <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">
With the cost of repair these days, you might be better off just buying a new one (unless yours is still under warranty).
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I agree it 's on it;s way out the door.
Better to buy another one than repair that one.

Intel Mod
Make sure it's not the dot clock on your video card dying, by trying the monitor on another system or another monitor on your system. Having confirmed it is the monitor, if you can call in a favour from anyone in the electronics game, radio ham etc, get them to go over the circuit board for possible dry solder joints. Other than that, yes, you'll have to decide if it's worth putting in for repair.
