Bad card?
I just got an Xtasy 5864 Geforce 2 Ti card and I randomly get a bunch of faint horizontal lines going up and down the screen (interlacing?). I tried the drivers from the cd and the newest from nvidia's site. Reinstalled my mobo's agp driver. Heat is not the problem, the fan on the card is working as are all other system fans. I'm running an Asus A7A266 w/1.4g athlon. Any suggestions before I exchange the card?

You may be experiencing noise from the memory bus, try enabling spread spectrum modulation if your bios supports it. Another cause could be a bad RF filter circuit on the card itself, if this is the case get a new card.

My Asus board does not seem to have that option. I've seen the option in some of my older boards though. I'll give the card a few more days to see if I can think of something.

Maybe update the bios? What card did you have before?

The previous card was a 3d Annihilator Pro (Geforce 256), and it worked fine.

I was thinking maybe electronic interference might have been causing the problem. It happens at 1152x864 and 1280x1024, but at 1024x768 and 1280x768 it seems fine.
