Quick question about Asus Slocket
Just picked up a Soyo SY6VCA slot1 motherboard VIA 694X chipset motherboard (supports all P2, P3, celerons FCPGA Cumine and PPGA) and Asus slocket adaptor for wife. The slocket has voltage adjusters on it to support FCPGA as well as PPGA socket 370 CPU's, the question I have is, should the jumpers be set for the cpu or should I leave them at default and let the motherboard detect the CPU's voltage. I plan on installing a PPGA celeron 500 MHZ.

The slotkets I've seen that have voltage jumpers are specifically for overclocking options....a default setting of AUTO should work properly for a standard install & config.

UBB Forum conversion...took my name and put in my avatar link instead...it's that way all over the forums for everyone who had a custom avatar until they go update their profiles.
