???? about detonator drivers
hey guys i have a new computer with windows 2000 on it and a gainward Gforce 3 card with version 5.13.01.2181 drivers on it. does this mean i have v5.13??? i have sen new ones out there as v.21.81--should i upgrade?---thanks lenny

The last 4 digits represent the version 2181 is the version for NVIDIA. I am currently running version 2183 on Win2k and ME and these drivers are better. Don't know about XP.

Look in the XP forum, as there are LOTS of issues with the NVidia's drivers and XP.

now i'm really confused ---one guy says it's the last 4 numbers is the version # and another guy said it's the first 4 #'s on another forum---HELP please--thanks lenny

Well it is rather confusing but if you were really running a driver from Nvidia as old as 5.13 the Geforce3 card probably wouldn't be recognised.
