Red face This is driving me nuts !!!

Does anyone know how to get a Gigabyte GA5AX with a amd k62500 and a creative 3d riva tnt2 m64 to actually work together ?

This works with exactly 0 of my 3d games.

    Hi!
I had similar problem with my brother' PC:
    Lucky-Star 5MVP3 AGP Mobo BIOS ver.au5-3
    64Mb PC100
    Creative 3D Blaster Riva TNT2 M64 16M AGP
    AMD K6-2-400 running at 100Mhz
    WD 10 Gb

After installing all drivers (IDE,AGP,video etc)under WIN95 (under clear WIN98 - same situation)I'm always received black screen appeared, while PC continue booting (as well as I heard booting sounds).(Similar situation was on ASUS P5A-b).

I'm flashed newest BIOS (au6-3) and as seems to me,this problem was solved. But another problem appeared - BIOS not detected UDMA. At all... So I had to flash previous version BIOS and to solve problem by another way.

And I've done it! How - I'm wrote at
    this topic: http://www.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/fo...ML/000490.html
May be someone like jmlozan donn't believe in it, but it's true - brother' PC now working well. Sorry - I cann't forget his message...
I hope, it somehow can help You. If not - sorry, result depends from lots of things:
Mobos, BIOS, version WIN, drivers etc.

I'll be sounding like a stuck record. Check that USB is installed and enabled. Then re-install your GFX card drivers and OpenGL games or apps. It's something I always check if I have a 3D problem.

    Cheers

    Scutterboy,

Yeah, already tried that, I also did it from a completely clean installation.

I've tried Creative drivers and also The latest detonator drivers. Still no joy.
