problem with pure 3d 2 voodoo 2 card
Hello! I have a canopus pure 3d 2 graphics card that has worked great until yesterday. I adjusted the graphics processor in options from 93 to 95 mhz, and all went fine in counter strike. But for some reason the card stopped working and now in the display configuration all it sais is "initialization error #1, contact support" .The problem is that support is down and i already have re-installed the drivers, but still get the same message! Please help me someone

Not to familiar with overclocking video cards, but have you tried backing down to 93 again? Do you have a fan on the Card's processor or even jsut a heatink? Like CPU's the cards chips also generate heat and need proper cooling for overclocking. If it still doesn't work after back down the speed, then I'd say the card is toast. You could try it in another machine.

Sounds to me like you have fried your V2. I'm not sure if the manufacturer of the video card you have installs heatsinks, but I know 3dfx didn't install a heatsink on the V2 1000 PCI. So since you've overclocked the video card without a heatsink, you've probably fried it. I know the V2 runs real hot just running at default (90Mhz) clock speeds let alone being overclocked. The V2 1000 PCI video card I have warped all on its own within two months of running at default speeds, I installed a slot fan next to it just to draw the heat from it. This is one board you don't want to overclock without modifying first!!
