Radeon VE and Desktop Icons
Hello, I seem to be having a problem with my Radeon VE video card using multiple monitors. Every time I reboot, the desktop icons are in a different location. I can not get them to stay where I want them to. Some on one monitor and some on the other. I have recently upgraded to the Radeaon VE from the Matrox G400. I had no problems with the icons under teh G400. This is a clean install of 98se. Any help would be great!

There is an option in the settings to lock them to one monitor (don't remember where). You might also want to check out UltraMon Desktop at www.realtimesoft.com, it gives you lock options as well as other pretty cool dual monitor tricks.

Thanks! I have come to find that I hate the Hydravision software and have completely installed it. I am using your idea and running the UltraMon2 It seems to work great. On top of the Icon issue, I was having software compatibility issues as well. After uninstalling Hydra most of the problems cleared up. I find my self wanting to get rid of the ATI card and get the Matrox G550 when it is released. Again, Thanks!
