Question win98 setup error

I am trying to install win98 after fresh fdisk and get an SU0013 error stating to create msdos partition of i have ntfs or hpfs or if i have lantastic server or superstar compression to disable it..i can't find anything in cmos that looks even close...any suggestions???

It won't be in the cmos. The structures refered to in the error is an MSdos partition is not recognized. After running fdisk and creating you primary dos partion you need to format it. Format c: will do and a /s will make it bootable althought it's not necessary.
