    Post DEFRAG00205

Everytime we try to defrag this win 98 se system we get the error DEFRAG00205 .. According to microsoft's website we need to open up the applog file and delete all contents.. I've tried that along with shutting down everything in the background and I continue to get this error.. We even tried running defrag in safe mode with no luck.. Has anyone ran into this problem??

    Thanks

According to microsoft's website we need to open up the applog file and delete all contents..
The technet article for that error says to delete all files on the hard drive named applog. Not just the contents of the file.
