[RESOLVED] Missing file tools.dll
I seem to have deleted the file tools.dll by mistake.Everything is working fine but every time I reboot I get a message saying that this file is missing. It is not in my W95/98 CDs. Where can I get it from? Thanks.

Tools.dll is probably not part of your operating system. It was probably a .dll that belonged to a program that you deleted or uninstalled. For some reason, the uninstall left a reference to the file in either win.ini, system.ini, or the registry. Check these files for references to "tools.dll" and delete them.

I just checked...this dll comes with Iomega ZIP drives and probably their other drives as well. I believe it is a part of one of their software packages. Check the Iomega setup software for the file you need or contact Iomega...perhaps they can help.
Hope this helps...

Check your system.ini file & see if it's being loaded from there. If so you can either delete the line or just put a semi-colon ";" in front of the line.
