[RESOLVED] DIrect X 5.0 help

After installing new hardware (ie) sound and Video cards ... my directx 5.0 setup will not certify direct sound and direct video .... I can't even reindtall direct x again ... what can I do to reinstall direct x again ???

Rerun the DXSETUP.EXE from C:\Program Files\DirectX\setup directory on your hard drive or install from a cd or by download from the web.

You may not want to run certified drivers. Certified drivers means the manufacture has gone to MS and had there driver approved as working with the current version of Direct X. As a example there is a number of Diamond drivers that have componets that are not certified but still work fine. If you have a new board installed you might try going to the manufatures web site to see if they have a newer driver and installing that on.
