On booting up I'm getting this mesage during loading...
C:\>C:\windows\net start Invalid value for binding specified Invalid value for binding specified error loading devise driver ndishlp.sys error 7323: one or more network transport drivers failed to load. I have tried going into control pannel/system/devise manager/network adapters/existing ndis 2 driver & reinstalling it from the win 98 cd but it made no difference. everything seems to work on my puter , I dont use any networking is there anything I can do to correct this message ? thanks CcRider |

Well, if you don't use any networking you should remove as many network components from control panel as you can. All you probably need for net access via modem is "Dial-up Adapter" and "TCP/IP". It also sounds like the net start got put into your autoexec. Edit the autoexec.bat file and rem out the "net start" line.
Hope this helps, Steve

I have not used net start since Windows 3.11. You shouldn't have to use it in Windows 98. Edit your autoexec.bat and REM the Net Start line out!
