[RESOLVED] Logical Drive
I have a Thinkpad600e with docking station Selectadock III. Int laptop I have one hard drive partitioned into two. In the docking station I have one hard drive partitioned into three. When undocked hard drives are C and D. When docked the first drive of the docking station becomes drive D and the second drive of the laptop becomes E. I want to force the same order all of the time whether docked or not. IBM suggests that I make the drives in the docking station "logical" drives, but doesn't explain how to do it. Any help?

Boot from a dos boot disk.
run fdisk
Then you have to remove the partitions on the docking station drive.
After this, you create 1 extended dos partition and then create logical drives in this partition.
It's a bit late now, but if you wan't more information E-mail me at [email protected] and I'll get back to you.
