I had this problem once and it was solved, oddly enough, by searching c:\windows\system for advert.dll and renaming it to advert.old. I was following some advice I got on this board, and it worked.

When I hear someone say they give "110%" to whatever they're doing, it makes me feel good inside, because I know I'm not as big a moron as that person is.

I checked the Windows\Systems folder and don't have the advert.dll.
I'll check the ID number at Microsoft.
    Thanx for the info!

I went to Microsoft and was going to change the default in the regedit , but the folder wasn't there. That may be the problem.
    Thanx for the info.
