Can you see connect speed with ICS from client
I have 3 computers networked together and decided to try internet connection sharing through win98. It functions ok, but I would like to know what the connection speed is without having to go to the host computer. I get very bad connections at times and have to disconnect and dial again. Also is it possible to disconnect from the client?

options:
for the speed at which you are connected -
Net Medic - it will tell you how fast the packets are arriving and leaving - graphicly, and you can guess at how fast you are connected with that (pretty accuratly) www.vitalsigns.com
second, client end disconnection - NOPE
option istead of that - use WinGate, it is a proxy server that will allow client end disconnection and connection - and it is pretty easy to setup. wingate also will do ALOT of things that 98se ICS wont.
(www.download.com - search - wingate)
both these come as shareware - and can be bought somewhat cheaply.

Go to www.razzmon.com and get their software..it's a remote access utility that allows you to do lots of stuff with ICS and similar programs
