    Resolved [RESOLVED] shlwapi.dll problem

    in need of support on win98. when i try to access add/remove, display, or add new hardware in the control panel, shlwapi.dll would appear and would not let me access. dont know what to do....if anyone can helped please replied.

    shlwapi.dll installs with internet explorer...what version are running?
    try reinstalling IE or upgrading it

    Try restoring shlwapi.dll with SFC. I had the same problem awhile back, and none since the SFC restore.
