    Unhappy i need to find the hidden directory .....

    i need to find the hidden directory (used by 98)(formaly used by 95) for storing multimedia device drivers in case ill-behaved games overwrite the ones stored in C:\windows\system?

    Quick fix:

    Start>>Run>> C:\windows\system

    it may not display anything until you click on <font color="blue"><u>Show Files</u></font>

    whats the directory called? <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

    incidentally, there's a "sysbckup" which has backup dll's etc. do you mean that?
