    Resolved [RESOLVED] networking probs....

    hey all,

i have a networking quandry...in one building, we have a netware server up and running as a classroom teaching aid..connected to a baynetworks switch 350, fiber connecting the one switch to another baynetworks 450 switch in the main building. now, when connected directly to the 450 switch. the novell client software can see the tree for the classroom server running, but when you try see the tree from a lab computer which is connected to a hub that plugs back into the switch, it is unable to see the tree...any ideas..

    thanks...

    Matt

Probably already checked this, but does the hub have uplink capability? Does the uplink port on the hub work? I have a hub at home that was labeled backwards. Just a suggestion.

Check your VLAN settings and permissions. Make sure all your ports are on the same VLAN
