    M$ still doesn't have a fix for this, But I have found a work around. find a company around town(usually a local ISP will have a disk with ie5, ns5 on it to give to customers who join their service. reinstall IE 5 from these disk and everthing should work fine. I have worked on this for many months and had to format most machines until I found this work around. Hope this type of service is available in your area. If not let me know and I will try to mail you a disk.
