    Resolved [RESOLVED] VXD Error---help

    I recieved this "blue screen of death":
    exception OE at 0028:C0000A936.

    Does anyone know what this is?

    In my experience it is mostly hardware that causes fatal 0E errors. However, of late, a complete reformat then reinstall of windows seems to have fixed the problem.

    I guess in otherwords, it could be hardware or software. Try the reinstall, its usually easier to "replace"

    What was you doing when received this event? Did you install new memory? or any other hardware?
