Whenever i play a cd on my computer, it will only play through it's own headphone jack.
How do i get it to play through the main speakers?

Also click on the speaker in the systray and make sure it is not muted.

Check multimedia playback settings in control panel. If your sound card is not avail in the pull down list, reinstall the driver after checking device manager to make sure that the sound card is there as a device.
If the volume is up and you can hear other sounds (try running something from c:\[windir]\media) then download the latest Windows Media Player from download.com - it should send cd audio digitally and not need the analog audio cable. If that still does not work, attach the audio cable.
