[RESOLVED] How to install w95 over w3.1
Friends,
I have made a mess of my computer, while formatting. Nothing could make it work. It has the old version 3.1 in it, but can't get to it I don't know how. While booting with the bootup disk it takes me A:\ what must be entered here ? I have w95 cd. Grogan's page tells me to look for fdisk but cannot figure out how. Could someone please help. I shall be very grateful.

Questions:
What happens when you type in "DIR *.*" at the C: prompt?
Do you have CD Rom access?
Do you have a Win 3.1, 95, or 98 backup disk?
What exactly did you do? Did you originally type in "Format C:" or did you "FDisk"?
Email me with the answers or post them. I can help but need further info.
Chat later

If you can post a message here, you must be able to go to www.bootdisk.com and down load the windows 95 boot disk with cd rom drivers. Run setup from you windows 95 cd.
