old dos?
i have upgraded from win3.1 to win95,but still have a dos folder,is it okay to
delete this file,it takes up 4.6 mb,also
a list of dos commands in it.

As long as you are not planning on going back to Win 3.1, it should be OK. Look in the Windows\Command subdirectory on your hard drive - you should see all the updated DOS commands that come standard with Windows 95, in case you need them (yes, DOS is still there...).

If you performed the upgrade, it would be better to go into Contol Panel/Add Remove programs, and select Old DOS/Windows files. It will warn you that if you proceed you cannot uninstall Windows 95, tell it to go ahead, and it will uninstall them for you nicely. May prevent future problems.
