Question System information won't run, corrupted msisys.vxd?

I'm running Windows 98 SE and recently installed a trial version of Vopt99. Now, whenever I try to run the Windows system information file, or the system information option under Vopt99, my system crashed.

A check of system file integrity provided an error message that "msisys.vxd" had been changed from the original and asked if I wanted to restore it from the system disk. However, I can't find it on my system disk.

Help!!
