BSOD (blue screen of death

Has anyone or does any one know how to interpret the bsod....
I came across an article in a mag, that explained how to interpret the numbers....
and to my surprise it worked....
But guess what the ball and chain tired up and threw it out...
has anyone else come across this and remember how to....
ie the number it gives....

00100-0384575-93475 has caused an yadee yadee
if the 1st what ever numbers are 100-200 its memory..
not saying it is as I can't remember....

Please help
