My password suddenly will not remain in the Dial-in logon box for Internet even if I check the save password box.
All ideas given a fair trial. Many thanks. ------------------ |

Taqwus, are you going to try to remember? I have had the same problem but failed in finding a solution, it just started working again after a while!

I am not sure about your system (I'm running Win 95) but I have to have Client for Microsoft Networks installed and selected in the Network tab of Control Panel to save the password.

The easiest solution is to create a duplicate dial up entry or delete the present one and recreate it.

Dear MSN_tec,
Tried creating new login to same & different ISP's-no password retained. Perhaps there's something wrong in the registry? |

you must be logged into microsoft networking. If you are not being prompted for username and password on startup delete your pwl file and restart making sure you log in.
