    Post Windows 95 Trouble!!!

I am working on a computer that is running Windows 95, I went to get uopdates for Noton Antivirus 5.0 off of a CD. The cd-rom was not there, so I went to Add New Hardware and installed it. Everything worked fine. When I restarted the machine after Norton was finished updating, Win 95 would load almost to startup, then freeze.
I did a bootlog.txt boot, and it shows nothing (ebios failed, and TTF Fonts failed, but nothing else. I read in MS KB that this is sometimes normal) I can boot in safe mode. I have removed the CD Rom in Sfe Mode, but still it does the same thing.

Does anyone know what's going on?

(I would just do a fresh install of Win95 except that this computer is set up with DSL internet sharing and other network settings that Win95 would reset. I don't want that)

    Thanks in advance

    He installed the CDROM..

Try uninstalling Norton from within Safe Mode-- sounds like Norton would be more likely to cause the problem than a CDROM drive.
