Resolved [RESOLVED] error message: comm.drv won't load

    Hello,

I am trying to install windows 3.1 but when I get to the second disk windows will not load and DOS sends an error message that comm.drv won't load.

    Can anyone help me?

sounds like a bad disk. You could try repairing it with scandisk...but you'd have to copy all salvagable files to a hd, recover the file, then put on a new floppy.

There was a common known problem with defective Disk 2's in the Windows 3.1x install set at one time. You will probably need to track down a replacement disk.
